It is January 2 and it is finally what we should call cold -12 or so but really back in the day (when we had to walk 3 miles to school barefoot) it is not really that cold but it feels like it. I ponder whether it is that it just has not been that cold in the last few years or if it is in relation to getting older each year. Maybe a combo of both.
